Working closely with Architect, Ben Taylor, MSE were commissioned to take verified photography for a strategic 36 storey tower block in Sliema, Malta, using projection UDM 50 zone 33N. There was concern over impacts on views from the UNESCO World Heritage City of Valletta and the historic capital, Mdina, and an extremely precise technique was required to demonstrate likely impacts on views.

Working closely with Urban Designer Matthias Wunderlich of Urban Intiative Studio, MSE were commissioned to take technical photography to cover historically sensitive views of the M4/A4 corridor in west London. We produced geo-referenced 3D models which were used to illustrate the impacts of different height models on these keep views. Views included Kew Gardens, Syon House, Osterley Park, Boston Manor and Chiswick House

In March 2018, MSE were commissioned to form a key part of the Public Inquiry team for the Chiswick Curve tower block in west London. Both Kew Gardens and Hounslow Borough Council were concerned about the impact of such a tall building on views from heritage assets, both within the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Kew Gardens and also from Conservation Areas along the banks of the River Thames. Our Proof of Evidence formed a key part of the Public Inquiry and gave confidence on the accuracy of the visualisation work being presented to the Planning Inspector.
